The Villa

The accommodation is set out within the main house and the guest house.

On arrival, guests enter the spacious, elegantly decorated living and dining room with blues and whites prevailing. The wooden ceiling is typical of Spetsiot mansions and the marble floors give a cool feel to the space. Great attention to detail prevails in the house as a whole. Five sets of French doors bring abundant light into the room and lead onto the loggia and garden on one side and the swimming pool and guesthouse on the other. There is an elegant fireplace, wonderful if one were to visit in the autumn or winter. Next to the dining area is the kitchen, with a solid marble sink adding much character to the room, which opens out onto the pergola and outside dining area.

A pale wood staircase leads up to the mezzanine level, with the master bedroom suite, and from there to the first floor. The elegant master bedroom is double aspect, with views of both the garden and the Old Harbour and an abundance of light. French doors lead onto its own private terrace with rattan sitting area and wonderful view. There is a large en-suite bathroom.

The first floor has a pretty double room with en-suite shower room. A wide corridor decorated with individual Greek antique pieces, found all around the property, leads to two lovely twin/double rooms which share a shower room. These two rooms each have French doors leading onto a large terrace with panoramic views of the Old Harbour.

On the lower floor is a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room, decorated in an elegant traditional style, an office which also has gym equipment, a guest cloakroom and a laundry.

The guest house, which is across the swimming pool terrace from the main house, has a twin/double room on the ground floor and a shower room. On the ground floor there is also a sitting room, which has a large comfortable double sofa bed and can be used as a bedroom if required. This shares the shower room on the same floor. On the first floor is a pretty double bedroom with a traditional iron bed, an en-suite bathroom and its own terrace.

There are a number outdoor areas to sit, eat and relax. 

At the front of the house is the shady loggia with a comfortable sitting area, stylishly decorated in tones of blue and white, elegant antique pieces and attractive objets d’art. Beyond the loggia is the garden terrace with a large rattan sitting area, where balmy evenings can be spent enjoying the wonderful views of the Old Harbour.

On the other side of the main house is the swimming pool, flanked by comfortable teak loungers, a sitting area with teak seating, a table tennis table under a pergola and a substantial al fresco dining area, also under a pergola. The shady large teak table, which seats 22, is surrounded by fragrant jasmine and is the perfect place to enjoy long breakfasts, lunches and dinners with friends and family.
